Do you want a quick and easy way to hook up a disk drive or CD/DVD Writer to a PC using a USB2 port? 

The adaptor simply plugs into the IDE port of the disk/CD/DVD, and the mains power adaptor supplied plugs into the 4-pin power port.  You can then attach the device to any USB1 or USB2 port on a PC or laptop.   A fantastic way of temporarily using a device without the need to open up a PC to install it internally.

This adaptor implements a bridge between a USB port and an ATA or ATAPI based mass storage device.

• Supports 48-bit addressing for large drives (any size).
• Supports PIO modes 0,3,4 and UDMA modes 2,4
• Supports any single ATA/ATAPI device configured either as a master or slave.

No drivers are needed for Windows Me, 2000 or XP, or Mac 10.X and later.

A driver CD is provided for use with Windows 98/SE.
