This disk case is made from solid aluminium so both sides dissipate the heat and allow these new high-speed 7200rpm disks to be used intensely for extended periods without overheating.

Uses very latest Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 disk built on perpendicular recording technology to deliver new levels of hard drive data density, capacity and reliability.

The disk drive uses the very latest 375GB per platter perpendicular recording technology, enabling massive capacity without increasing heat compared to previous generation disks.

PCClone Backup software is bundled, which responds to a press of the backup button on the front of the unit. The software will then start a backup of the folders on your PC that you have selected. See below for screenshots.

On the front of the unit are 3 USB 2.0 ports, enabling devices like USB2 memory cards, or digital cameras, to be connected to your PC through the disk drive's USB connection.

Prior to shipping we fully format the disk (as a single NTFS partition) guaranteeing that you can plug in the disk and use it within seconds. If you want the disk partitioned into multiple drives, or different formats (e.g. for Apple Mac or Win98/Me), then let us know, and we will do it free of charge prior to shipment.
