New Wifi-7 Option for BLK Fanless PCs
We have added the option for the new Intel® Wi-Fi 7 Card, the BE200, to our BLK Fanless PCs using the ASUS H610T motherboard - the TX-Series, T-Series, and Galileo Rackmount Series.
Wi-Fi 7 (also known as 802.11be) will use the 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz bands just like Wi-Fi 6E. Its main selling points are increased throughput and the ability to simultaneously send and receive data across different frequency bands and channels.
Your Wi-fi Access Point/Router would need to support Wi-Fi 7 to use the new features. But it is backwards compatible with existing Wi-Fi 5 and 6/6E routers for those who are considering adding the feature to your new PC to make it future proof for when your environment supports the Wi-Fi 7 standard.
Please bear in mind that the Wi-Fi 7 standard is new, and the drivers for Windows and Linux are still relatively new. For that reason, we continue to supply the options for the more established AX201 (Wif-Fi 6) and AX211 (Wi-Fi 6E) cards.
See our range of BLK Fanless PCs that now have the option for Wi-Fi 7.
